When I started purchasing this hair two years ago, I was very happy with it. It never tangled or shedded. But then it became a hit or miss. Sometimes I would buy a great pack and then another time, a big disappointment. It is almost as though if I purchase a good pack, I would prefer to keep forever rather than taking chances on another disappointment. My hair is shedding, tangling and matting. The hairdresser has to spend a large amount of time just trying to get the tangles out. This hair as other have stated is gorgeous once you first install it....then week two...it turns into a haystack!!! It felt like I had a matted mess on my head. Not worth the price!!! - I so wish i had did my homework beofre purchasing this hair. I saw it a the beauty shop and thought " yes, that's the perfect hair, perfect blend the perfect match, perfect texture". Week one, flat wrap, wonderful, Week two(washed and conditioned) OMG!! For the price paid, I am very disappointed. If I wanted a cheap fix, I would have brought cheap hair. (Posted on 8/20/12)

When I installed this hair I was in love. The best hair ever. The perfect match to my thick full hair. I only needed one pack. It had BOUNCE AND BODY and held curls well........but then a week later. It was a hot mess... Tangled, felt like straw. Hair is everywhere,too. Its so dry. I was so embarrassed. I got the hair on clearance and now I know why. I will go back to the Sensationnel Goddess brand.

After looking thru the reviews, its seems the more recent reviews are pretty consistant with lower ratings vs the older 5 start ratings. I have been using this hair brand for over 2 yrs and my current install has to be by far the worst...the worst weave i have ever had. I really did like this hair and have remained commited to using it becuase it was so good, blended well, curled well, and did not tangle...but as of now...i agree with the recent reviews. This hair is shedding like crazy...i mean this hair is EVERYWHERE...every room in my house has some loose strands of hair in there, all on my clothes, the car, and its gotten on my bf nerves - we live together so its in his stuff too! And YES YES YES it tangles baddly, every 5 mins you will need to detangle. I have gotten to a point now where i dont want to brush my hair daily so i keep putting it in a fishtail braid to aviod dealing with it. Its a shame b/c the hair is very pretty and natural looking, but I will not be getting this hair again. (Posted on 1/21/12)Satisfaction - I've used the same hair for over one year. I just received my hair today and I much say the hair is soft and beautiful! I am African American but my hair straightens very well so I think next time I will get the silky Yaki...however, I think this hair would even work better if you don't have a perm because your roots will be more curly. I will definitely update my review once I have the hair installed on the 7th. Let me advise those who want straight hair...this hair does not get straight...it will stay slightly crinkled....but it will lay down very well and from a distance it just looks like healthy permed/ freshly blow dried hair. I currently wear Zury which is MUCH. Less expensive than this hair and I manage the hair just fine , HOWEVER you must treat your extensions just as good as you treat your own hair. Primarily you should be using a sulfate free shampoo and and Argan oil based conditioner...carefully wrap hair in a towel and let sit for about half an hour...then allow to air dry or use LOW HEAT SETTING ON your blow dryer ( I only use tourmaline ionic hair dryer) and the. I flat iron with my chi. So if I can have ZURY in for like 2 months I know this hair will be wonderful! I promise to update. Also I got a 1B and it matches my hair PERFECTLY!!! I have had this hair for 3 days and it began tangling and shedding from day 1. There is no way that a Remy brand this expensive should be shedding and tangling like cheap hair! The texture is nice but as previously mentioned it does NOT hold a curl, and I have curled it with a flat iron and flexi rods to no avail. One pack could do a whole head (maybe a small head) but I needed one and a half. One good thing I will say is that the 10" hair is very long, it stops at my bra strap. I can never seem to get my first color choice from this site, like, ever. So I received a 2 instead of a 1b and it looks like a 4. I'm curious to see what the 1b even looked like, so if you're a 1b you may need a 1. Anyway. I haven't had this hair for a week but I know I would not purchase it again. This is one of the best products for black women for blending with coarse hair. The texture is rediculousl! It holds curls well and does not tangle. I absolutely love it. No matter what length I wear, people always think its my hair because of how well it blends with my coarse hair. I am def. hooked on this hair and its worth the money.Satisfaction
